DROUGHT PROOFING YOUR PROPERTY
People do under estimate the amount of potential water they can actually harness from the roof area available to them. The larger storage volume you have available to you, the longer it will last you through those long dry hot summer periods.
Every m2 area of roof for 1 mm of rainfall = 1 litre of water in your tank.
Average Roof Area = 350 m2 x annual rainfall of 600mm = 210,000 litres of water per annum.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT TANK FOR YOU ?
Steel Modular Water Tanks – 20 Year Warranty
These water tanks are the most economical water storage solution for volumes starting from 50,000 litres through to 240,000 litres. These tanks look good are very strong and durable and are 2.3 m high, and will require a larger diameter sand pad base for the tank to be positioned on. ( Refer to the schedule above for diameters ). These tanks do provide the best economy, comparing money spent for the litres stored. They have a 20 year manufacturer's warranty. Access requirements to assemble these tanks on site aren't dramatic at all, each wall panel and component can be walked through a side entry pedestrian gate if required to assemble the tank on site. This is a definate advantage. These tanks can be installed in suburban houses as well as rural properties. These tanks are fully engineer certified and comply with Shire by-laws and requirements.
Corrugated Iron Water Tanks - 20 Year Corrosive Warranty / 10 Year Manufacturers Warranty.
Steel tanks - do not bulge or stretch when full. The strength of steel means the tanks comfortably hold the large forces generated by tonnes of water. Steel tanks have been around for more than 100 years so the structural long life is a proven fact. In addition this strength will not deteriorate over time under the harsh Australian sun as with other materials.
Long life - In the early days steel tanks where just plain galvanised steel and after many years could begin to rust from the inside. This is a thing of the past with modern tank steel which has a long life polymer coating. This polymer coating is on the inside of the tank walls and on both sides of the base (inside and out). The water never touches the steel and now the tanks carry a 20 year warranty against corrosion! The strength of steel and the longevity of polymer coating.........best of both worlds.
Slimline Tanks, Small Round Tanks and Larger Round Tanks up to 28,960 litres in volume are available.
